Sommer Vega is a communications strategist and content creator who helps mission-driven organizations clarify their message, strengthen their visibility, and execute work that moves people.
A Spelman College alumna, Sommer founded Pocket PR to give organizations access to senior-level thinking without the weight of a traditional agency. She has since grown the company into a trusted communications partner for nonprofits, government agencies, universities, and purpose-driven businesses.
Her approach is direct: understand the mission, identify what matters most, and build a practical communications program that gets the work done.
